Windsurfers at Canadian Hole

This is from Canadian Hole on the Outer Banks. Its really cool in this little spot because the sky is full of windsurfers’ sails, all different colorful graphic designs. The water in this spot goes as far as the eye can see but its only waist deep, and they skim across the top of the water on a ski while their sail catches the wind and pulls them along.

Scooner Bay

This scene is from Scooner Bay (yes Eastern Shore of Va) I took it with b&w in mind. It was soooo unreasonably cold when I was trying to take this picture. Cold and so windy I had to position my car between myself and the wind to keep it from knocking myself and tripod down. This is what we do to get the shot.

Wachapreague Va

This image comes from fishing town of Wachapreague, nothing around here but people who love the water and love to fish. People here live that laid back sorta beach bum lifestyle. The water is to the left of this image, at the time however this scene was a bit more interesting at the time as there was not anything happening in the water. This image is hdr.
